Catherine and Pierre come from four generations of winemakers. They have been running their winery since 1982 and own around 15 hectors of vines in Bourgeuil and Chinon. Their philosophy stems from the love and respect of the land.
The soil is worked, and if any compost must be used, Breton limits the use of sulphur as far as possible to produce wines which are as pure as possible. They have been practicing biodynamic farming since 1992. The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small boxes to reduce damage.
This is an incredibly light and crisp red. You get hints of pepper with juicy red fruits such as raspberry and cherry.
